On Wednesday we received a special visit from four members of Bath Rugby: Dave Attwood (Bath and England player), Danny Grewcock (Bath, England, British Lions and now Academy Director), Stuart Hooper (Club Captain), and Geoff Binding (Business Development Officer), who were interested in learning more about what goes on at their local glove makers.

The tour started with a look around our museum, which holds famous gloves throughout history, such as those worn by Queen Elizabeth II during her Coronation in 1953. The team then took a trip down to the factory, where they were shown the various processes our craftspeople go through to create our Heritage gloves.

Taking a look around the museum and factory…

Our guests each received a pair of Dents gloves, but not before using the unique Dents tape measure to get the perfect fit! Despite their hands being around a size 10 – 10½ (Extra Large), we could perfectly accommodate them in our size range.

It was great to have them here, and everyone said what lovely people they were. Find out more about Bath Rugby here.
