It’s time to sport your finest hat – one of the biggest horse racing events in Europe is taking place!
Between 17th – 21st June 2014, the annual Royal Ascot will be held in the small town of Ascot in Berkshire. The event dates way back to 1711 when it was founded by Queen Anne, and it has become tradition for the races to be opened everyday by the Royal Procession, during which the Queen and her guests arrive in a horse drawn landaus.
